Speaking Topics for IELTS
Study the following questions study the answers and asks your partner to question you then
try to give a long answer.
In IELTS your fluency is tested,you should always try to give a better answer rather than giving a short or one word answer.
Eg: Question: I would like to ask a few questions about your family ? How many members are there in your family.
Brief Answer : There are five members in my family.
Better Answer: In my country most of the families are nuclear families and my family is not an exception,my father got seperated from his family and we built a new house for us now ,our family that is my sister my younger brother and myself living there. You know now there are five of us.
Question:
I would like you to tell me about an equipment in your household such as a computer,television,refrigerator,mobile phone so on...
You should say . what it is? What do you do with it? How important is it ?
Answer:
Well....I 'd like to tell you about our TV .We have a big plasma TV.mmm...I think it is the most utilized equipment in any household.Actually some people are addicted to it...In my case I use it mainly to improve my English.I have a satalite TV connection too...so can watch a wide range of TV chanells such as BBC,CNN,Hallmark,ESPN ,etc.
It gives me lots of entertaintment...you know ...a large amount of information .and I think it's pretty good.
Question: I 'd like you to tell me about your favourite news channel.
You should say
What is it ?
How often do you use it ?
Explain why you like it?
What do you think what a good should have?
